| Yeah! Power |
| Well folks, I live in the muggle town of Fenton Michigan less than 1/4 mile from where the evil tornado spell hit on Friday night. Muggle illuminating ceased to exist. They closed the freeway exits to our town and limited traffic to only cleared areas. We had an 8:00pm curfew on the entire town. The town lost most of its 100 year old Aspens, Oaks, and Maples. Power lines down everywhere. The entire town was without power and we were told that it wouldn't be on until Monday at midnight. Emergency crews and volunteers from everywhere came in to help clear the area, fix houses, clear houses that were to damaged to save. Power crews from several counties and states came in and in 24 hours we had our power.Everything is back on track and the knitting continues! |

wow--glad to know that you are okay! I hope the recovery/clean up is quick.

Recovery/clean up has been really fast. Most of the large trees have be removed from town. Unbelieveable how fast they have worked. Everyone in the town has been so shocked that the removal was fast. We still have stumps of all sized left that will have to be taken out. I think some of the tall stumps might be left to see if the trees will grow back out of them. Especially an Oak that has been around forever.
